The first is that Wilson is disliked because of the offense of the Gospel, not because of his own behavior. Uh, no. Read my point about other Gospel-preaching ministers on the Palouse and the respect they enjoy in their communities.
Second, and far more disturbing, is Nass’ acknowledgment that he has actually benefited from a the inclusion in American society of a few blacks — arch conservatives like Thomas Sowell, Voddie Baucham, and Walter Williams — but that he’s sure, overall, that their presence has been too damned costly for white America. He says whites are more intelligent overall than blacks and other ethnic minorities, asserts that Kinists perform a valuable “contrarian” viewpoint to society, and ends by calling me a racist, because I’m focusing on race.
He also seems to think I want to ban Kinist and other hate sites, when my thoughts on censorship of lunacy couldn’t be more opposite than that. See, I hate what you believe, Nass, and while I theoretically would defend to the death your right to say it, I’m much more interested in what’s actually, not theoretically, going on:
You get called out, you call yourself out. No matter. The blogosphere gets to see what kind of bigots defend the bigotry of Doug Wilson, and those readers can draw conclusions that anyone not an ass, a lackey, or an imbecile could draw.
I never said whites are more intelligent overall than blacks and other minorities. On average Ashkenazi Jews and East Asians are more intelligent than others, including whites. They are also more devoted to academics — not surprising, seeing as how people tend to devote more effort to what they are good at, and tend to get better at what they devote more effort to. Not to put too fine point upon it, a lazy East Asian would qualify as a fine workaholic among white Americans:

If one is a bigot for noting that the average IQ of blacks is significantly lower than that of whites, and that the average IQ of East Asians and Ashkenazi Jews is significantly higher than that of whites, then please allow me to introduce two of my fellow bigots — Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell. I do hope you won’t allow the color of their skin to interfere with your ability to recognize their bigotry. By the way, I am sure that both of these men, who are highly intelligent and full of excellent insights, would have had no trouble earning their PhDs even if the concept of affirmative action had never existed. Dr. Williams has pointed out that blacks actually do better on culturally biased tests, although that has not allowed them to bridge the IQ gap. American blacks have an average IQ of 85 — one full standard deviation below the average for the population at large. African blacks have an average IQ of 70, two standard deviations below the American average. In some parts of Africa the average IQ is as low as 50. Contrast that with Ashkenazi Jews, whose average IQ is one standard deviation above average.
Dr. Sowell says — and he’s talking about blacks here — “For many practical purposes, however, it makes no real difference whether poor performances in abstract thinking are due to neglect or to lack of capacity. In either case it has serious ramifications in a scientific and technological society.” — Race and Culture, p. 165.
Serious ramifications indeed. The modern economy is increasingly stratified along IQ lines. How many blacks have won a Nobel Prize in chemistry, physics, or physiology/medicine? Zero. For Jews, the numbers are 27 (18%), 44 (24.4%), and 49 (25.9%). In economics, the score is 1 vs. 23 (37.7%). Blacks account for 14% of the world’s population. Jews account for just 0.1955% of the world’s population. The disparity between the relative performances of Jews and blacks in academia speaks mountains.
Please note, I never said that blacks are genetically hardwired to be intellectually inferior for all time. While acknowledging the reality of the difference that you seem determined to deny, Sowell seems convinced it is caused primarily by cultural factors. I think that he may be correct, but not necessarily in such a way that more money spent on Head Start programs is going to make any difference in our lifetime.
I can’t prove it, but I suspect hereditary factors in IQ are “softwired” — handed down from one generation to the next, but also malleable, with the results of that malleability transmittable to subsequent generations. There are various known examples of phenomena of this sort, which I guess we would have to see as a sort of microevolution. If you apply stress to certain animals, you can produce physiological changes that are then handed down to subsequent generations even when the same stress is not applied to the subsequent generations. And these changes tend to persist for several generations. Ditto for malnutrition — the effects can take a few generations to overcome. So I would be open to the possibility that the average lower IQ of blacks is malleable. But, as Thomas Sowell pointed out, regardless of the cause, it is simply an objective fact that must be dealt with. As to the question of whether white America would be better off if there were no blacks in America, please note that I was saying that a Kinist could make such an argument cogently on the basis of what black welfare programs and black crime cost white people. And that is a fact — such an argument could be made cogently. Nota bene, your response is essentially to put your hands on your cheeks, make your eyes wide and shriek, “OMG! Did you hear what that Doug Wilson supporter just said?” If that qualifies as cogent argumentation, then yes, I suppose you have to be congratulated on your ability to make a cogent argument as well.

Why don’t you contact Kayla and Lori Donahue’s parents, and the many thousands more people in their position, and ask them if they think the presence of tens of millions of illegal aliens and other large criminal classes in America has been worth it. Surely some noble cause is being advanced that makes such “collateral damage” worth the price. No?
Anyway, it’s just something to think about — you’re so full of empathy and compassion, perhaps you’ll be able to understand why some white people in America are beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed by certain aspects of the blessings that “diversity” brings. Oh, I know, they only want to do the jobs that Americans don’t want, right? —
